This is a workshop for anyone wanting to demystify the brioche knit stitch!We will learn by making a small sample, first in one colour, and then using 2 contrasting colours. There will be plenty of support offered and strategies for correcting mistakes when they happen. This will give you the skills for your first brioche project and you'll receive a simple scarf pattern so you can get started straight away!
This workshop is suitable for anyone who knows how to cast on, knit and purl. It also requires a fair amount of concentration, so not the ideal workshop for chatting with your neighbour!
We will supply the yarn for your sample project and will be using a 6.0 mm needle. If you have a favourite, please bring it along.
