Join WITF at Albright College for an art workshop that focuses on drawing with charcoal.
About this Event

Led by artist Victor Capecce, the workshop explores sketching and drawing with charcoal on toned paper. Charcoal and chalk were often used by Leonardo da Vinci in his studies and drawings. No experience is required to participate.

WITF is and celebrating his lasting impact as an artist, inventor and innovator with a series of events, including 12 free Art Workshops for adults, ages 18 and up, throughout its 19-county footprint.

Bringing da Vinci to Life culminates on November 2 with a free community exhibit and preview screening of LEONARDO DA VINCI, a film by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon.

Produced by Sarah Burns, David McMahon, Ken Burns and Tim McAleer. Edited by K.A. Miille and Woody Richman. Cinematography by Buddy Squires. Narrated by Keith David. The voice of Leonardo is read by the Italian actor Adriano Giannini. The musician and composer Caroline Shaw wrote and recorded original music for the film performed by Attacca Quartet, Sō Percussion and Roomful of Teeth. The executive in charge for WETA is John F. Wilson. Executive producer is Ken Burns.
