Greater Sydney Parklands invites Home School & Distance Education students and their parents/carers to join us in Bringing Back the Bush at Lizard Log in Western Sydney Parklands. This excursion is provided FREE of charge.
Get hands-on in activities that teach First Nations cultural perspectives, science, geography and tree planting to restore native habitat.
Bringing Back the Bush provides cross-curricular learning with a focus on First Nations cultural perspectives, sustainability, fieldwork and developing a lifelong connection to nature and Western Sydney Parklands. Dharug elders will share cultural activities.
When: Tuesdays 2nd April 2024
Who: Home School & Distance Education Students Aged between 8-13years. We require a parent/carer or guardian to remain with each group.
Time: 9:45am – 2:30pm
Where: Lizard Log, Western Sydney Parklands

** We require a minimum of 100 students up to a maximum of 200 students. If your group size is small may combine your group with another.
