Bring the Words poetry workshop at Bring The Paint - Thursday

Join our Poet in Residence, Cathi Rae, in exploring the festival's murals through poetry. Ages 14+ (under 18s must be accompanied by adult).

Cathi Rae is a Poet, spoken word artist, body positivity model and campaigner against ageism in the world of fashion. She is currently doing a creative practice PHD in languages and literature at University of Leicester entitled “Unlabelled. The creative response to the lives of marginalised individuals.”

Participants will meet at LCB Depot for an introduction, take a tour around murals old and new in the Cultural Quarter, before returning to LCB Depot to create their poems.
