About this Event
Join us in celebrating the incredible work of young artists at the Final Art Show of the Bring Art to Life: Traditional & Digital Illustration course!
Over the past six weeks, students ages 16–24 have explored the foundations of illustration, collage, and augmented reality. Under the guidance of curator Akiya McKnight and augmented reality artist, Denise deLaSNP Coke, participants learned everything from character development and dynamic posing to lens creation—culminating in a field trip to Snap, Inc. for hands-on inspiration.
This exhibition is more than just a showcase—it's a community celebration of creativity, technology, and self-expression in East New York. Come experience the intersection of art and STEAM, view powerful student work, and learn how digital tools like augmented reality can transform traditional art into immersive experiences.
