When life hands you A-T, drink Lemonade! Celebrating Brigid’s 7th Birthday with a Lemonade Stand for A-T and a party on the playground.
Six year old Brigid loved hosting lemonade stands with her sister and friends. We lost Brigid due to complications stemming from her Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) earlier this year, but she is not forgotten. We will have a lemonade table in her honor. The playground will be open; we’ll have bubbles, chalk, and yard games - cornhole tournament anyone?; and a candy raffle basket. We hope to stream the Steelers game on the side of the building, and I’m working on getting a food truck. Stop by the lemonade table to learn about A-T, see some favorite photos of Brigid, and consider making a donation to life altering research by the ATCP.
We hope to see many of Brigid’s friends as well as new faces from throughout the community to celebrate a life lost to soon, celebrate resiliency, and work for a cure. Whether you stop by for 5 minutes for 3 hours We look forward to seeing you!
