Brigid's Day: A Cultural Celebration

In Ireland, February 1st marks the start of spring and the celebration of Ireland’s national holiday: Brigid’s Day. Brigid’s Day, or Lá Fhéile Bride, celebrates St. Bridget and the Celtic Goddess associated with the ancient festival of Imbolc.
In partnership with the Consulate General of Ireland, Boston, we will have a special celebration for Brigid’s Day by highlighting the role of women in Irish culture, folklore, and the arts.
