Please park in the church car park and walk up past the presbytery and the Men’s Shed.
Join Ballyduff Tidy Towns and Cathy Eastman for a living willow workshop, where we’ll be creating a willow fence to form part of the boundary of the new St Brigid’s Labyrinth in Ballyduff.

This is a free outdoor event, funded by Ballyduff Tidy Towns and Kerry County Council.
Please bring gardening gloves and secateurs if you have them, though it’s absolutely fine if you don’t. Dress for the weather, as this workshop will take place outdoors.
Willow is fantastic for biodiversity. It provides early food for pollinators, particularly bees, and also attracts aphids, which in turn are an important food source for birds, especially during the nesting season.
Willow has long been used in traditional crafts such as basket-making, fencing, archways, and boundaries. Because it absorbs large amounts of water and thrives in wet, boggy ground, it can also play a role in natural flood management.
