Jared McGovern is a seasoned roots musician and songwriter from Lawton, Oklahoma, whose career spans nearly two decades of performance in the Americana and roots music scene. Beginning his journey playing bass for artists like Bob Wayne, Wayne Hancock, and Jayke Orvis, McGovern went on to form the energetic hillbilly swing trio The Urban Pioneers in 2014. His work blends traditional roots influences with high-energy, dance-ready arrangements, making him a compelling presence alongside Brightwire for this release celebration.
