PLEASE BOOK ONE TICKET PER FAMILY. You are welcome to bring a partner, grandparent or friend!
10am: Newborn Workshop
A 60 minute workshop, covering the principles of newborn positioning and babywearing safety, and how to use a strethy wrap and/or a close caboo. Free stretchy wrap or caboo hire, or bring your own carrier. You are very welcome to join us before your baby has arrived - we have demo dolls to practice with.
11am: Sling Support Slots
10 minute slots with a trained peer support volunteer. Try from a wide range of slings and carriers from baby to preschool, available to hire for the month, or for help with fitting your own sling.
In order to ensure everyone receives support, each family will have time to be supported with one sling / carrier or issue. Families with similar needs will be grouped to maximise the support available to all.
We will endeavor to see families in the order you arrive - we will not have capacity to support anyone arriving after 11.45.
COST
- FREE fitting support from trained peer support volunteers

LOCATION
The studio at Blue Lagoon Warm Water Centre. Please note this is up one flight of stairs with no lift.
Blue Lagoon is on the Hyde industrial estate in Bevendean. There is free parking, and it is close to the no 48 bus route. There is a cafe on site serving hot drinks and pastries.
