Gypsy jazz favourites Amuse Manouche will be joining forces with top London violinist Matt Holborn for an extra special show as part of Brighton Jazz Festival 2024.
Inspired by jazz greats such as Django Reinhardt and Ella Fitzgerald, Brighton-based gypsy swing band Amuse Manouche’s hot club sound comes from a combination of lightning-fast guitar riffs, pulse-racing rhythm, soaring vocals, and a passion for the songbooks of the 1920s and 30s.
Matt Holborn is an improvising violinist based in London. Matt performs with The London Django Collective, Learn To Draw and curates nights for Soho Jazz Live. In addition, Matt has collaborated with and written music for The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, Domenico Angarano, Hull Jazz Festival, Elaha Soroor and the Spitalfield Music.
