Get your gowns and tuxedos out again people, we’re having another ball!
Sirona’s Secrets is proud to present the second Brighton Burlesque Summer Ball, and this time it’s a whole weekend extravaganza!
Come to Wagner Hall, all lovers of burlesque, whether a fan of the art form, a hobbyist or a full time performer, this is the weekend for you to shop, learn, mingle, dance, and get dressed up to the nines, to party and to watch some quality entertainment with some of the best burlesque performers from all over the UK.
Saturday: Market, workshops and Competition show
There will be some market stalls to buy some burlesque bits and bobs, performer merch, accessories and of course tassels!
Bring cash as well, as some sellers may not have a card reader.
There will also be pop-up workshops throughout the afternoon, schedule tbc.
In the evening, there will be a burlesque show, highlighting newer talent from around the UK, where performers will compete for the Brighton Burlesque Seaside crown, and a place in the line-up for Sunday’s Burlesque Ball.
The market will be open from 13:00 - 16:30.
The workshops will be staggered between 14:00 and 16:00.
The doors will re-open for the show at 18:30.
The market will be free to enter, but a ticket will be needed to be eligible for workshops, subject to availability.
Tickets for Saturday will grant access to the market, the workshops and the show.
Sunday: The Brighton Burlesque Summer Ball
It’s the Summer Burlesque Ball, so it’s time to feel good and dress to express, so get glammed up in your fancy threads, and come celebrate an evening of high calibre burlesque featuring bonafide superstars from all around the UK.
Doors will open at 18:00 for mingling and drinks.
You can expect an incredibly varied show, representing a broad range of styles, moods, and creativity.
After the show there will be time for more of a social, and dancing accompanied by our DJ.
There is also a beautiful outdoor space, The Fig Tree Garden, for you to mingle and enjoy the Summer evenings before and after each show, and in the intervals.
