? UOK Brighton & Hove's Recovery College has an open day at Brighthelm Centre on the 1st of May.
Come down from 11:00 - 15:00 to learn more about our courses and how you can apply.

What is a Recovery College?
⭐ The primary aim of a Recovery College is to offer educational courses as a route to recovery from mental health challenges.
⭐ The concept originated in the United States with the first college established in Arizona in 2000.
⭐ This model made its way to the UK in 2010, and there are now more than 85 colleges spread across the nation.
⭐ Recovery Colleges offer learning and educational opportunities that are collaboratively designed, developed and delivered by individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges (Peer Trainers), together with clinical staff and other professionals.
? Our college is provided in partnership with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust. All courses are free, welcoming and centred around subjects that matter to our community.
Whether you or someone you know are hoping to gain a better understanding of mental health challenges or are looking to develop new skills and abilities, the Recovery College provides a range of workshops and courses that may be of interest.
You can find their Annual Prospectus here ➡ https://heyzine.com/flip-book/99d6c8de1b.html
Hope to see you on the 1st of May.
