Bright & Black on projekt, kus metal-skene hinnatud loojatele anti uus lõuend – sümfooniaorkester – et luua midagi täiesti uut. Lisaks Toppinenile ja Järvile löövad kaasa teisedki tuntud nimed: Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth), Erik Danielsson (Watain), Nico Elgstrand (Entombed AD), Tomas Haake/ Dick Lövgren (Meshuggah) ja Jacob Hellner.
Läänemere piirkond (Eesti, Soome, Läti, Leedu, Poola, Saksa, Taani ja Rootsi) on aastakümneid olnud nii metal- kui ka orkestrimaailmas esirinnas. Läänemeremaadest pärit artistid, muusikud, heliloojad ja dirigendid on end kõige kõrgemal rahvusvahelisel tasemel tõestanud. Just selles kogukonnas sündis Bright & Black idee – talentide süntees, keda ei ühenda mitte ainult geograafia, vaid ka kirg kunsti ja muusika vastu.
Bright & Black murrab piire ja esitab artistide loomingulisusele täiesti uue väljakutse minna tundmatutes suundades. Projektist valmib ka rootslase Kirke Ailio Rodwelli juhtimise all dokumentaalfilm.
Muusika võib olla maagiline. Ja muusika maagia pole kunagi suurem kui teda päriselt kohal olles kogedes. Kristjan Järvi ja Baltic Sea Philharmonic on aastaid Euroopa publikut värske lähenemisega hellitanud. Ei mingeid noodilehti, ei mingit istumist! See on väga orgaaniline, dünaamiline ja teistsugune kogemus. Kui lisame võrrandisse veel Eicca Toppineni Bright & Blacki solistina, siis on kindel, et tulemus on midagi täiesti normist erinevat, seda nii orkestri- kui metal-muusika austajate jaoks.
Bright & Black kontsert toimub Tallinnas Alexela kontserdimajas, 7. märtsil 2024. Piletite eelmüük Live Nationi kontserdiklubi liikmetele algab 16. novembril kell 11. Avalik müük algab 17. novembril kell 11 Piletilevi veebilehel ja müügipunktides.

Enter Bright & Black, a distinctive ensemble led by Eicca Toppinen, renowned from Apocalyptica, alongside our esteemed conductor Kristjan Järvi. Embark on a one-of-a-kind concert experience on March 7, 2024, at the Alexela concert hall in Tallinn.

Bright & Black is a groundbreaking project, granting respected figures from the metal scene, such as Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth), Erik Danielsson (Watain), Nico Elgstrand (Entombed AD), Tomas Haake/Dick Lövgren (Meshuggah), and Jacob Hellner, a new canvas—an entire symphony orchestra—to craft something entirely novel.
The Baltic Sea region, encompassing Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, has been a trailblazer in both the metal and orchestra realms for decades. Artists, musicians, composers, and conductors from these countries have consistently demonstrated their prowess on the global stage. It was within this community that the concept of Bright & Black emerged—a synthesis of talents bound not only by geography but also by a shared passion for art and music.
Bright & Black shatters boundaries, presenting a fresh challenge to artists' creativity, pushing them into uncharted territories. A documentary film directed by Swede Kirke Ailio Rodwell will chronicle the project.

The Bright & Black concert is set to transpire at Tallinn's Alexela concert hall on March 7, 2024. Ticket presales for Live Nation concert club members commence on November 16 at 11 a.m. Public sales will follow on November 17 at 11 a.m. via the Piletilevi website and sales points.
