Bistro och bar öppnar klockan 16:00 På scen ca 20:00.Hi guys! Here in BRIGADE HQ we are massively excited to be returning again, after a year and a half away, to the mighty medley, our favourite Swedish rock and roll venue, nestled deep in the heart of Malmö!
But you know it always gives us problems. We have to keep the set list fresh and updated, but we also have to make sure we’ve got the favourites as well! And so many to choose (129 songs were recorded by the Clash). We have also already made promises that we have to keep…
So here’s the deal. We can absolutely guarantee you some cool Clash classics (try saying that after a couple of Tuborgs!), such as London Calling, Safe European Home, Magnificent 7 and White Man In Hammersmith Palais. But there will be surprises and songs that are maybe less well known, but are also classic, such as… oh but wait, you’ll have to come on down and check us out… It will be a riot of punk, ska, rockabilly, funk and rock and roll.
And with the sad news of the death of Johnny Green, the Clash’s beloved road manager, we’ll be playing a couple of his favourite Clash songs. (If you haven’t read his book: “A Riot Of Our Own: Night And Day With The Clash” you need to get it. We’ll be asking questions…) /Love from the Brigade crew
FINNEGAN’S HELL, det ledande svenska bandet inom keltisk folkpunk, är tillbaka! Nu med en ny trollkonstnär på banjo, bouzouki och tin whistle – Matt Finnegan! Bandet gjorde succé på gigantiska Woodstock Festival för några år sedan och plattan ”One Finger Salute” röstades fram av folkpunkfans världen över som Celtic punk album of the year.
Finnegan’s Hell jobbar just nu på nytt material och bokningar av gig på klubbar och festivaler. Bandet har laddat med vin, gin och kalla öl i kylen och nu är det dags att möta fansen igen med sedvanligt svett, allsång och ölspill!
