Reason for visit: Direct exposure to a live band + a voice that knows exactly where to aim.
Primary symptoms: The songs are personal. The vocals are unreasonable. The feelings are not optional.
Assessment: Rock-forward, soul-heavy, pop-symptomatic
Notes: Patient presents with a songwriting brain and an unlocked vault: original music, almost-hits, songs that got away, songs she wishes she wrote, and covers that left permanent damage. A full workup of the music that raised her, ruined her, and saved her.
Prognosis: Slightly healed. Slightly wrecked. Emotional support vocals medically necessary.
Treatment plan: Attend as directed. Bring friends. Tickets strongly advised. Side-effects may include unresolved feelings, old wounds, and big choruses. Warning: hooks may contain emotional truth and hit harder than expected.
