200 years have passed since the introduction of the railway system in Great Britain. Did you know- Bridport had its own railway? Sadly, it was closed 50 years ago.Bridport’s shared heritage is important to us at the museum, and so we will be holding two guided railways walks in celebration of the above. We'll be exploring the site of the old station and looking for clues for what remains.
Our walks will take place from 11 AM on Tuesday the 16th of September and the 23rd of September. Tickets are £5 per person and available from the museum or our Eventbrite page:
