Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia's Bridging Savannah's Bridge takes the traditional bridging ceremony that ends a Girl Scout year and SUPERsized it!We are walking over the Talmadge Bridge! Girl Scouts, past and present, from across the nation are invited to come to Savannah, the historic home of Juliette Gordon Low - our Girl Scout Founder, to participate in this special and unique opportunity: to celebrate themselves; reflect on their contributions to their community; connect with their Girl Scout sisters and our history; and experience a Girl Scout ceremony as they never have before!
The city is proud of its Girl Scout heritage and wants to keep you safe. Our bridge is just over two miles long and 185 feet high!
Girl Scouts 10 and older will walk from Hutchinson Island to historic Savannah. Girl Scouts 9 and under will get to ride a ferry boat across the river! Did you know one of the ferry boats is named, "The Juliette Low II!"
We know Girl Scouts love to use their resources wisely! GSHG will be taking a year off from bridging in 2026 as the bridge undergoes renovations allowing for bigger ships to pass under it.
Don't miss this epic event celebrating your accomplishments in Girl Scouting!
$45 per Girl Scout. $45 per Adult.
Please register by June 6, 2025. This is not a drop off event.
