Event Description
In the second of two events located at The Tees Transporter Bridge, participants and members of the public will be welcomed back to the Visitor Centre to view an exhibition of digital stories and imaginative timelines for the future to connect stories and communities.
Participants will be invited to discuss the process with members of the public, and entertainment will be provided by local choir The Infant Hercules and Teesside University’s Community Engineer, Mike McGrother.
Accessibility Information
lease use public transport where possible as parking is limited near the centre. The nearest rail station is Middlesbrough. Exit the station onto Bridge Street West, turn right and walk to the junction with Albert Road. Turn left and walk to Ferry Road.
The Visitor Centre is accessible via ramp, a wide, automatic door.
This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 7–16 November 2024. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
