FAMILIES WELCOMEBrigade: Girls who sold 450 boxes or more of cookies will receive a trophy provided by the service unit. Siblings who sell a combined total of 450 boxes or more can also receive a trophy but we must know who the siblings are needing trophies.
Girl Awards: Leaders can present girls Bronze/Silver/Gold Awards at this ceremony, please let us know ASAP so it can be added to the program. We like for them to give a brief description (speech) on how their awards were earned.
Adult Awards: Tenure pins/service pins will be listed on program.
Bridging: This is a very special ceremony. Each girl is expected to wear their uniform. We highly encourage all leaders to have badges and patches to the girls/parents at least a few weeks prior to the ceremony to allow time to get them sewn/glued onto their uniform. Each girl bridging will cross the bridge, and as they cross will remove their old vest/sash/tunic, Girl Scout handshake with leader or co-leader. Most troops will have the new vests at the other end of the bridge and leaders can help the girls put them on. Each girl will receive a certificate provided by the service unit.
Drinks and dessert will be self serve after Ceremony.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE (for leaders): April 22nd to allow time to work on certificates and program.
Email to [email protected]
Girls names who will be bridging must be provided by this date in order to guarantee they will receive a certificate and their name be listed in the program. Please verify your girls names are spelled correctly prior to registering AND are in ALPHABETICAL order by LAST NAME.
We do need helpers to set up starting at 4pm and everyone to help clean up after event.
Troops that are unable to participate are encouraged to host a troop only bridging ceremony.
