Join us on the Sunday 28th July for one of the most popular events on our calendar!Visitors will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of yesteryear with our free vintage bus services to and from the City Centre. The frequent service will use a selection of historic buses from the GVVT collection. The service will operate to a timetable which will be posted on the website.
Inside the garage, we’ll have a fine display of buses, commercial vehicles and fire engines. The vehicle displays also give the visitor insight into all stages of vehicle restoration, from rusting hulks, to preservation in progress and finally to the restored vehicle.
Other popular activities will be running:
The Model Bus Federation will be bringing their dioramas showing their models in a range of street scenes.
Our Wee Happy Shop will be open for souvenirs, books and clothing, and not to be forgotten, the Clippie’s Café will be opening serving refreshments and light snacks.
