The GVVT is pleased to open our home, Bridgeton Bus Garage, to the public on selected Super Sundays during 2025. Our Super Sunday events allow you to explore the Garage and see our 130 buses, coaches, fire engines and commercial vehicles, many of which are fully restored and operational, with other awaiting or under restoration. May 4, GVVT Goes to Town: see Glasgow the vintage way as our buses operate extra free services on routes throughout the city. Sample the Bridges Tour, a sightseeing experience of the crossings of the Clyde from Albert to Arc, and take a top-deck view of George Square and surrounding streets on our regular city centre shuttle. Discover these and more special tours on the day.
You can pay on the door (cash and card accepted) for our Super Sunday events or purchase tickets in advance from our online shop.
Super Sunday Ticket prices: Adult £6, Concession £5, Child £4, Family £17, Carer £2.
Child tickets are for children aged 3-15. A family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Under 3’s are admitted free and don’t require a ticket!
Refreshments and toilets are be available.
The GVVT Wee Happy Shop will be open selling books, models and merchandise.
A free shuttle service will operate every 30 minutes between the Garage and City Centre.
