“Bridges to the future / links to the past” presented by Dave Martin.With a few notable exceptions, we mostly pass over bridges without paying them much attention. Dave will take us on a tour to look at the range of bridges to be found on the Island and how they have evolved, some of the threats they faced - from weather extremes to revolting residents with explosives! And some of the stories those bridges can tell.
