Join us aboard the Steam Tug William C Daldy on the start line of the Barfoot & Thompson Bridge to Bean Rock Yacht Race.
The Race takes place on Sunday 28th February 2020 and is from the Harbour Bridge to Bean Rock for all dinghy classes and foiling vessels. Click Here to find out more race details from the website.
The mass start under the Harbour Bridge will be signalled by Our iconic steam whistle blast, reverberating under the bridge. We will then shadow the race down the harbour to Bean Rock Lighthouse.
You will enjoy the best view on the harbour from the sprawling decks of the W C Daldy. Our large passenger to space ratio and 750 ton displacement will provide a nice smooth, stable sailing with heaps going on both above and below decks.

We suggest you bring a camera, sunscreen, hat and a light wind proof jacket.

1000: Depart Devonport
1030: On station at the Harbour Bridge near the Bungee jump
1100: William C Daldy signals the start of the Bridge to Bean
1200: Lunch served
1330: Return to Devonport
PricingAdults: $70
Children: $35 (Up to and including 12 yrs of age)
Infants: Aged 1 to 3yrs sail free (limited spaces available)
All fares include a Buffet BBQ and sumptuous open sandwiches. Full bar & Coffee service will be provided along with tea/coffee/espresso and a full range of both non and alcoholic beverages will be available from the bar.
Covid~19: Passenger numbers must be reduced to 75 should we move to Covid-19 restrictions. In this case, passengers will be taken on a first in, first served basis. Those who miss out will receive a full refund . Should we not be able to sail due to Covid-19, all passengers will receive a full refund.
