Learn how to make brick stitch bead woven flowers.This is a half-day workshop.
You will learn brick stitch in the round, constructing a woven bead circle around a central larger bead, and adding bead petals around the circumference.
These beaded flowers can be made into earrings, pendants, or joined together to create dramatic necklaces or cuffs.
No prior beadwork experience required.
All attendees will have free entry to see a selection of Kaffe Fassett's Quilts on loan from his collection alongside Works from textile designer Janet Haigh.
All material provided.Students will be able to take home a finished brick stitch pendant or pair of earrings.
Tea and Coffee on arrival.
If a workshop is cancelled for any reason by the organisers, the participants will receive a refund minus the Eventbrite fees.
