On August 19th 4-10pm join us as we celebrate the life of DANNY HOGG A.K.A. COOL “DISCO” DAN, the most notorious graffiti artist in the city’s history, on the sixth anniversary of his passing, and the naming of COOL “DISCO” DAN DAY.

With sonics provided by DJ RBI, PROFESSOR M, MIKEY VADER, and SCRATCH MASTER K. Plus a candle lighting at dusk, and a special edition of Brick Layers, a live panel discussion featuring pioneering DC graffiti writers LISA OF THE WORLD and MISS CHELOVE, moderated by museum curator, CORY LEE STOWERS.

14th Street Graffiti Museum was founded in 2020 by the DOUBLE DOWN KINGS to honor the life of DANNY HOGG A.K.A. COOL “DISCO” DAN, and pays homage to the graffiti culture’s evolution here in Washington, DC.
