Saturday, June 7th will mark the return of our very own "sell out" (of available seats in our house concert venue, that is), Brian Martin! Brian's LAST solo show with the RHCS was June 8, 2024 - and we're glad to have him back! It doesn't get much better than this Arkansas native's ability to weave his stories into amazing songs, with his mean harmonica and EPIC mouth trombone! You may know him from Sad Daddy or his self-named "Mess" which also features two of our past performers, Nick Brumley & Presley Haile. Let's fill our venue again - and even have folks outside on the patio if we need the space! Requested donation (which all goes to the artist) is $25 per person. Trust us... it's worth it!
Our venue has 28 seats available --- and there's standing room - just to give you a sense of audience size. Please select GOING to confirm you're going to be here as we anticipate a packed house for this show. If your social calendar fills up, please just switch yourself to INTERESTED so we know not to anticipate seeing your smiling face, and free up a spot for another music lover. Doors will open at 6:30pm and prepare to be entertained starting at 7pm.
REMINDER: This is a HOUSE CONCERT...not a house party. If you have not attended a Rainwater House Concert Series show before, here are a few things to know:
1. It is BYOB! The RHCS Happy Machine will be loaded and ready (summer's here - so it'll be TEQUILA) - and please bring whatever other libations you prefer. We will have an ice chest for you to keep it cold if needed. (Drink Responsibly)
2. Bring a dish to share. It can be chips and dip, cookies, an order of wings, a personally prepared dish (our favorite), or anything you think people will like. We will have SOME snacks, but there may not be enough to feed everyone.
3. This is not a bar venue. We frown on talking during the performance, and we appreciate giving your undivided attention to our entertainers during the music. If you need to talk, please go outside.
4. If you came to hear cover songs, you came to the wrong place. This is for the artist to show off their original music. They may play some covers throughout the night, but it won't be the focus.
5. Silence your phones. Give some respect.
6. We do not CHARGE for admission. We ask for donations, but if you are there to listen to the artist, then you need to pay up (it is not fair to the artist for you to get something for nothing and they give something and get nothing). This is the artist's livelihood. They aren't there for their health. THERE MAY BE MERCH - so bring extra $$$$
7. Enjoy yourself. Meet new friends through music. And most of all HAVE FUN! We know WE will!
