About this Event
Presented during the 2026 Exposure Photography Festival, the Brian Henson Memorial Exhibition showcases a powerful collection of his meticulously hand-printed, black-and-white photographs, each one a testament to his deep respect for traditional photographic processes and his unmistakable artistic vision.
Brian Henson was a highly regarded fine art photographer, a longtime friend of The Camera Store, and a cherished member of Calgary’s photographic community. Since his passing in 2022, his work continues to speak with clarity, intention, and care, reflecting a lifetime of dedication to the craft.
For this fundraiser night, Brian’s original framed photographs will be available for purchase and to take home. Guests are invited to select one original piece, allowing Brian’s work to live on in new homes while directly supporting an important cause.
In accordance with the wishes of his estate, all proceeds from the evening will be donated to the RESET Society of Calgary. RESET provides compassionate, comprehensive support services for women who are survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking, focusing on healing, empowerment, and long-term change.
This evening is both a celebration and a continuation of Brian’s legacy, where art, community, and generosity come together to make a meaningful difference.
