About this Event
Brew Up Business is a monthly get-together where we discuss various aspects of sales and business development. We are hosting a special edition in conjunction with Boulder Startup Week. It seems only fitting that our topic is: what are the essentials to starting a business? We welcome anyone who's responsible for growth in their business, and who would benefit from sharing ideas with other like-minded professionals.
DON"T EXPECT A ONE-SIDED PRESENTATION. This is a facilitated discussion so we can tap into the collective wisdom of the group. Together we can share what's working, how people are overcoming current challenges, and brainstorm new ideas and solutions. You are highly encouraged to bring laptops or journals as there are often small breaks to work on your own strategies so you leave with solid action items.
MADE BETTER WITH BEER. Business development can be a daunting subject so that's why we host the event at a brewery. In a laid-back environment with a beer in hand, the goal is to keep things light and fun so we can tackle a "serious" thing in a non-serious way!
SCHEDULE/AGENDA: The first 15ish minutes will be for purchasing a beer if you want, getting settled, tracking latecomers, and light networking. The main discussion will then go for about 90 minutes. The last 15ish minutes will be for wrapping up, capturing action items, and transitioning to more networking for whomever wants to stay later.
SPONSORSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE. Minimally, we always look for someone to buy the first round or a round for the networking afterwards. And we are open to customizing other options. You would be included in the promotion of the event, plus get the opportunity to say a few words before we start the main discussion.
TIME, DATE, OR LOCATION DON'T WORK FOR YOU? We are always open to running other Brew Up Business groups on other days, at different times, and in more areas of Boulder if there is enough interest. Send us a message with your suggestions. We currently run one at Diebolt Brewing in Denver on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, and another one on Zoom the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
