If you would like to up your coffee game, join this class to learn more about brewing methods. You'll get hands-on experience with a French press, Hario V-60, and Aeropress while understanding how they work. At the same time, you'll improve your palate by learning to notice the subtle distinctions in coffee prepared using different methods. Ask your coffee questions and get answers and you delve deeper into the science and craft of brewing coffee. You'll leave with the skills to make you the best barista in your home café.
Class includes food pairings from the Boise Co-op, as well as a take-home bag of coffee beans from Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters so you can continue to expand your brew-knowledge at home.
About the Instructor:
Amanda Stewart is the coffee educator at Dawson Taylor, leading classes for both coffee industry experts and the general public to increase their awareness of and understanding about coffee. With over 10 years in the coffee industry as well as a teaching background, she loves helping people learn more about coffee and feeling more empowered to craft beverages perfect for their needs.
