About this Event
Join Patrick Felker at Brenton Point State park as he and other participants search for migrating birds of the Fall season. Brenton Point is a migrant trap and there should be a variety of migrants such as warblers, sparrows, sea ducks, loons, and more. As birds travel south they come to the Atlantic Ocean. They turn back around and find the nearest point of land to rest and feed. Brenton Point is one such place. Bathrooms are available and the trail is easy. The walk will start out in the interior wooded portion of the park and will end by walking around the rocky coast looking for shorebirds and ducks. We will meet in the parking area near the orange building where the bathrooms are.
