Brennan Wedl is renowned for her dynamic shifts—from sweet, lilting country ballads to explosive, jangly rock riffs. A creative force since co-founding Boston’s teen phenomenon Dazey & The Scouts in 2017—and through their viral resurgence in 2020 as a new audience found themselves drawn to the allure of their self-described “hormonal freak show”. Wedl captivates with a sound that feels both intimately raw and defiantly bold.
In contrast, Vince Thompson’s Silvie’s Okay delivers a punch of pop country energy that harks back to his roots. Raised on a cattle ranch in the High Desert and now calling Western Massachusetts home, Thompson infuses his music with heart-stopping hooks and soulful storytelling. His songs traverse the spectrum of grief and euphoria, heartache and liberation, resonating like old friends with timely relevance.
