Join Mountain Craft on the Brenig Way guided challenge walk on Saturday 5th April 2025. Push your limits to cover this breathtaking route of 50 kilometres in 12 hours!This open event can be booked by individuals or groups and is now guaranteed to run. For just £95pp you will be guided in a small group of like-minded people with minimal fuss to keep your costs down. If you are a regular walker and can happily complete routes of around 30km (18-20 miles) then the Brenig Way is absolutely within your reach.
We meet in the town of Corwen (well connected on the A5) for a final kit check & safety briefing, we start walking at 8am! The terrain is made up of forest tracks, rural footpaths and a few minor lanes. Along the way we follow riverside paths along the Dee, Alwen, Clwyd & Clywedog rivers and a big stretch through the huge Clocaenog Forest before finishing at the iconic lake of Llyn Brenig. We can help arrange connecting transport and there will also be a support vehicle stationed on the route to provide refreshments and kit changes.
