IOWA has the 2nd highest cancer rates in the United States. The state is #1 in fastest growing rate of NEW cancers. This Spring 2025 the Iowa Cancer Registry through the University of Iowa has data available that looks at the 99 counties of Iowa.
BREMER county has higher than expected cancer rates compared to even Iowa overall, and this is across many many different cancer types. JOIN Dr. Shawn Ellerbroek for a discussion of this data and learn about the cancers that are impacting the residents of Bremer County.
