Brecon Beacons Mountain Walk with Ron Prescott

Guided walk with Ron Prescott, suitable for those who walk regular and are happy with 8 miles

Meeting at the canal carpark in Llangynidr, Forge Road NP8 1LU 10am

This will be a gentle mountain walk with one steep climb, beginning in Llangynidr we will take a scenic route along the canal tow path, then up over farmland onto the summit of Tor-y-Foel(route may change dependant on the weather)

Checklist - walking boots, waterproofs, backpack, food & fluids, walking poles.

There is the option of a dip in the River Usk near the start/finish point where there is a nice easy access point with waterfalls and deep water for swimming
