Bretts workshops offer knowledge and experimentation with the mechanics and basic principles of the breath. With an emphasis on the importance of nostril breathing, the workshop demonstrates simple and effective ways in which the breath can act as a physical, emotional and mental regulator.The fundamentals of Bretts breathing practices focus on relatability and practicality, providing awareness as to ways breathing techniques may be implemented in our everyday lives to target certain states of being. Breathwork is a powerful tool for releasing stored emotions and feelings in your nervous system or body. The workshop will also involve a breathwork journey, a safe and natural healing process utilising conscious breathing patterns to induce physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing.
Please bring a yoga mat, warm clothes or a blanket (it is common to get cold during breathwork), and water.
If possible, refrain from eating large meals or caffeine just prior for best results.
There is an extended discussion period during the session so feel free to bring anything to help with comfort eg bolster or small pillow.
If your someone who likes to take notes, a notepad and pen also.
Breathwork is a phenomenal catalyst for transformation and healing. For best results, please be ready, present and free from any distractions and come with an open mind. The session will consist of a range of really simple breathing exercises followed by an extended breath flow.
