Samatha, a meditation and mindfulness practice bringing the attention to the breath and the pause in between. Paired with movement to love, twist and align the body. The breath work then enhances the meditative state.Samatha is a gentle way of training the mind to develop inner strength and freedom from restlessness leading into clarity and understanding. Taking notice of the habits of the mind that hold us back from HAPPINESS to allow us to become kinder to ourselves and those around US.
Breathwork causes vibrations in the throat area working with the cranial nerves ,muscles, vessels, glands thyroid , cartilage and bones that pass through it. It is from my experience that the more we pay attention to the subtle body and the strengthening of the neck and body from the inside out the easier life is. Bandhas are a hold or an essence which creates stability and balance iin the body with practice they increase vitality.
THE THROAT and NECK (jalandhara bandha)

We will engage in a practice that will align the torso from the pelvic floor(mula bandha).... belly (uddiyana bandha) up to the tip of the crown. MAHA bandha is all three in engagement which is an upward lift and drawing energy inwards to help remove blockages and bring the body into harmony. And help the body fight gravity or from falling apart(prolapse).
In a world filled with adrenal and kidney fatigue,physical and mental depletions, this practice will help fill your SOUL with energy of life.....PRANA .
Myofascial release on tight areas of the body allowing for fresh oxygenated blood and lymph to areas that have been bound by previous trama which helps with pain and movement and speeds up healing.
Inversions and modifications will be offered during this practice because it creates lightness on our insides and draws attention to the neck. The practice starts from the ground up.

Working with the sympathetic nervous system....heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, inflammation and activating the parasympathetic with breathe and vibration and slowing the inner workings of the body down.
Please do not eat 2 hours prior so nothing is in the way of listening.
