About this Event
Are you ready to explore what’s possible when you connect deeply with your breath?
Join us for Breathwork Journey Within, an enriching blend of conscious connected breathing and immersive sound designed to open a pathway to healing and transformation.
This event invites you to tap into your power to release, renew, and reconnect. Through conscious connected breathing, you will gently release stored tension and deep-seated emotional blockages, soothing your nervous system into a balanced state. Imagine approaching life with greater resilience, feeling grounded emotionally, physically, and mentally, while carrying more energy and joy into each day.
Throughout this journey, you may find yourself shedding old patterns and limiting beliefs that no longer serve you, breaking free from stories that hold you back. As you breathe, you’ll open the doors to deeper self-connection, feeling more in tune with your body, heart, and the world around you.
In this session, we’ll guide you through conscious connected breathing—a gentle, non-forceful practice that encourages you to listen to your breath and your body’s rhythm. This isn’t hyperventilation or pushing limits; rather, it’s a supportive space to relax and allow your breath to reveal and release what it needs. Your breath knows the way and when you surrender and trust the process, the breath will guide you toward profound transformation.
To enhance your experience, we’ll conclude the session with a soothing sound immersion. Let the calming vibrations of koshi chimes, shamanic drums, resonant tree bells, and crystal singing bowls envelop you, guiding you into a state of blissful relaxation.
You’ll also acquire practical tools that you can easily integrate into your daily life for lasting benefits. This workshop offers a supportive and nurturing environment to explore breath as a powerful tool for healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Whether you’re new to breathwork or have prior experience, this is a welcoming space for anyone ready to explore, release, and grow. All you need to bring is an open mind and a willingness to explore. Let’s breathe, reconnect, and unleash the potential that lies within you—join us on this exciting adventure!

Things to note:
Bring a water bottle and journal. An eye mask is recommended to help you surrender further into the practice. We recommend you wear comfortable, unrestrictive clothing as we will be sitting, moving and laying on the floor.
There are plenty of mats, bolsters, blankets and cushions to get cosy with though feel free to bring your own for a felt sense of additional familiarity and groundedness. We recommend not eating anything within at least 1.5 hours prior to session. It's best to avoid caffeine on the day. Think about an intention for your session, what is holding you back in life? Then be ready to let it go.
Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event.
Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 10:45am - 11:00am. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 11:15am. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.
Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY. 2 - 3 Hours parking will be charged at $7.50.
Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via [email protected] or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.
Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please join by donating what you can.
Ticketing T&Cs: We get it, life happens, therefore we will gladly refund you up until 24hrs before the event start time. After that, we have a strict no refund/no transfer to future events policy.
