About this Event
This group experience is offered to help you breathe through what has been held physically and emotionally within the body and is complimentary to those working with other forms of therapy or self-guided healing. Jen will guide participants to connect to their body, slowly/gently moving from standing or sitting while intention-setting for 5-10 minutes. We review what to expect during the Breathwork session (approx 40 minutes).
Guiding the Breath, Jen will observe participants and offer suggestions, as well as optional touch, to encourage participants to breathe fully into the respiratory diaphragm, the side body, and expand the capacity of breath into the belly. Continued active breathwork helps energy flow through the meridians and energy centers of the body. Acknowledging and breathing through what comes up (thoughts, memories, emotions) throughout the session can result in the body feeling lighter, cleared or more open.
Reset your nervous system with a meditative energy healing Sound Immersion to complete the experience (30-45min, overlapping with Breathwork). Yoga mats and bolsters provided, however please bring anything extra you prefer for your comfort; extra mat, pillow, blanket, journal/pen, and reusable water bottle.

Please park on side of Building 7 - near pond. Easiest to find us if you come off of W. State St - turn near the traffic circle - between bldg 8 and 9 and continue past the pond, the road turns to the right and park right there on the side of the bldg. Take the curved path, to the 2nd door on the Left - across the fountain in the pond - facing bldg 8/traffic circle.

Guided Breathwork* is optional and you may choose to practice any form of breathing techniques you prefer. *Circular Breathing practices are generally not suitable for pregnant women, or if you have high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, aneurysm in the brain or abdomen, asthma, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.
