About this Event
In honor of June being Men's Mental Health Month, this month's event is for MEN ONLY by popular request. This event is an opportunity to clear out any blocks, past hurts from the experiences with the Masculine (father or relationally). As well as harmonize with your own masculine energy. We'll dive deeper into your Vision and Purpose, so you can be clear and connected to what truly drives you in life. It is an oporunity to clear anything that holds you back in relationship with the Feminine and connect to your Authentic Self & your heart. You are absolutely welcome to have your own personal intention for the session as well, that may be different from the theme of the event.
Somatic Breathwork™ is a full embodiment experience designed to help you release stress, trauma, emotions and stuck energy from the body. It is a modality that utilizes your own breath to help shed the layers of yourself that no longer serve nor support the vision of the life you want to live.
Somatic Breathwork™ uses a circular diaphragmatic breath to tap into your body's innate inner intelligence (sub-conscious mind and nervous system) to find the areas that need clearing. It is designed to release what has been suppressed. In a safe container it allows for an experience of a deep presence in the body and enhances our ability to self-reflect and experience wholeness.
Everything in our body is regulated by our nervous system. Our breath allows us to shift from fight-or-flight (dis-regulated/stressed) state to rest & recovery (regulated) state. Regulated nervous system is the foundation of optimizing our human potential.
Our nervous system remembers everything, it always craves the discharge of the stuck energy and Somatic Breathwork provides an opportunity to reset our nervous system for better health, relationship and overall well-being.

IMPORTANT & WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring water, yoga mat or blankets to lay and be comfortable on, as there are no extra yoga mats at the venue, wear comfortable clothing. Refrain from eating 1,5-2 hrs prior to the session.

By signing up for this session you agree to these terms: I acknowledge that Somatic Breathwork™ is a deep and powerful process. It involves rapid and prolonged breathing that is designed to activate intense emotional responses. I have notified the practitioners of any physical injuries, mental or psychological conditions I have. I engage in this experience willingly and take full responsibility for my own physical, mental and emotional experiences during and after the session.
Contraindications:
Somatic Breathwork™ is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your physician(s). Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their physician(s).
Release:
I have chosen to participate in Somatic Breathwork™. My choice has been voluntary and I may terminate my session at any time. I understand that there is no assurance that I will feel better and that emotions may be evoked that will be upsetting in nature. I understand the potential risks of participation and hereby agree to release and hold harmless Ilona Luff of any and all legal responsibility or liability for outcomes experienced as a result of the Somatic Breathwork™. I or my representative(s) agree to fully release and hold Ilona Luff harmless from and against any and all claims, liability, or damages - arising out of or in connection with my session(s).
Disclaimer: as you know, this powerful experience is hard to put into words and using videos and images from the experience is what allows other to discover this beautiful practice. With that being said, during this experience there will be videos and photographs taken to use for digital marketing purposes. If you DO NOT want to have any videos/images taken, please let me know. I want to honor your privacy & needs!
