What is Conscious Connected Breathing?

Breathwork utilizes the Conscious Connected Breathing technique, where deep, rhythmic breathing creates an activated state in the body. This powerful practice allows you to tap into your inner potential, helping you reduce stress, boost energy, and unlock greater clarity and emotional balance. By reaching this activated state, you're able to transform your life, creating a more vibrant and fulfilling path forward.


What is Integration and Why is it Important?

Integration in Breathwork is the time to reflect and absorb the powerful effects of your breathwork journey. After releasing stress and unlocking new energy, integration helps you make sense of the experience, allowing you to carry the benefits—like calm, clarity, and balance—into your everyday life. This essential phase ensures that the positive changes you’ve made during breathwork stick, supporting your well-being and helping you thrive long after the session ends. Following your transformative experience, you’ll receive a personalized integration phone call 2–4 days afterward. During this call, the facilitator will help you process any emotions or insights that emerge and share customized breathing exercises to support your ongoing well-being well after the breathwork journey ends.

Preparation for the Event

  • Avoid food 2-3 hours before the event
  • No Caffeine Day of the event
  • Stay hydrated throughout the day
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing
  • Fill out waivers and info {here} If this is your first Ahwaken event *
  • Bring a yoga mat, water, journal, pen, cushion (optional), and blanket (optional)


Breathwork Journeys the Last Saturday of Every Month with two start times to ensure flexibility for your busy schedules.

The last Saturday of every month starting Jan 2025, will host two events one in the morning and afternoon. The first event starting 10 AM to 1 PM for those who prefer to wake up early with an invigorating morning activity, and 3 PM to 6 PM for those who prefer a later start to their weekends. Check the schedule and pick the session time that fits you best!*


Important Considerations This event is not suitable for those with:

  • Pregnancy
  • Epilepsy
  • Heart conditions
  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • Use of psychoactive medications


Breathwork is a safe and natural practice that uses conscious breathing to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, promoting deep relaxation and healing. However, due to the increased oxygen levels and shifts in carbon dioxide during the process, you may experience temporary sensations like tingling, numbness, cramping in your arms, hands, or feet, mild dizziness, or the surfacing of emotions like sadness or anger. These are normal responses as your body releases stored tension and emotions, and they typically subside shortly after the session. Always listen to your body, and feel free to pause or adjust as needed.

IMPORTANT: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST READ, FILL OUT, AND SIGN THE CONTRAINDICATIONS FORM AND RELEASE WAIVERS BEFORE THE BREATHWORK JOURNEY. TO ENSURE A SEAMLESS EXPERIENCE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORMS IN ADVANCE.
