Breathwork is a safe practice of exploring altered states of consciousness to help process and release past experiences and limiting beliefs, connect with higher wisdom, and embody more of your true essence. Utilizing a gentle circular breath, your ego mind quiets, allowing greater access to deeper parts of your psyche. Breathwork is a somatic self-healing modality that has the potential to deeply impact your life, your body, and your direction.
A 2-hour Breathwork Ceremony begins with an opening circle followed by the journey of breath. Music guides the rhythm of your breath as your body, spirit, and soul experience a variety of profound effects. The ceremony concludes with a closing circle of optional sharing and integration.
Aimee Ames connected deeply with Breathwork in her own journey of transformation and is in awe of how profoundly it has changed her life and the lives of those she coaches. Aimee is always learning and evolving. She is a certified Functional Nutritionist, an Intuitive Body Coach, has trained with the Somatica Institute, and is a Conscious Breathwork facilitator. It is her passion to support others in their journey of expansion and return to their true, most authentic self through the sacred modality of Breathwork.
Bring all you will need for your “nest” — yoga or another comfortable mat, a small pillow, a blanket, and an eye mask. Dress comfortably, bring water in a closed container, a journal and pen, and your curious and open self.
It is best not to have eaten too much before the session, so your body is not focused on digestion. Breathwork is a sober modality, please refrain from consuming alcohol or other substances before the session. Allow yourself enough time to arrive and set up your space before we begin at 6:30.
