A 2-day Breathwork and Brotherhood to celebrate the opening of Tribe.Friday 6pm-10pm
Saturday 1pm-5pm
The medicine in this space is simple, and that’s why it’s so powerful. We’re going to slow down. Come into our bodies. Let our hearts speak. Set down some of those heavy burdens we hold as men. And breathe through what’s trapped in our systems.
In doing so, we’ll uncover a pervading peace that lives beneath all of the noise, returning to our lives with more presence and capacity. We’ll bridge new neural pathways, finding insight on places of challenge in our lives. And we’ll synchronize our body, emotions, and spirit, feeling more of our authentic selves as we leave the weekend to walk in the world.
Breathwork
is an enlivened breath practice that takes us into a deeper state of consciousness, offering clarity and insights not available in our day-to-day mode of operating (think: psychedelic journey with the breath as the medicine). The breath cleanses the body, re-wires emotional pathways, and resets our nervous system. This powerful, self-healing practice is known to get us “unstuck” and offer self-generated guidance that leads us towards more clarity, peace, and connection in our lives.
Brotherhood
may be the oldest technology we have as men that is absent from our realities these days. We use the circle and shared agreements to create a genuinely supportive, vulnerable, and connective space where we can just be who we actually are. When we’re allowed to relate to ourselves and each other from a place of heart, so much becomes possible.
Each offering can be experienced as a stand-alone event, and they fit together quite nicely. Each day will include 2 hours of facilitated practices, a 75-minute guided breathwork journey, and 45 minutes of integration and closing activities.
Friday Evening: The Warrior’s Heart
We’ll be utilizing the technologies of non-verbal connection, dyadic council, circle, and breathwork to invite forth what doesn’t always have space to be shared in our day-to-day lives. The focus for this evening is a connection to our own hearts and to the hearts of other men. This is an evening where you’re not only welcomed to feel what lives beneath the surface—you’re seen and uplifted for the
se deeper currents that make you, you. Potent possibilities open when a group of men are in their hearts together.
Saturday Day: The Warrior’s Body
The body is home to an innate wisdom that has the capacity to heal and empower. In this guided embodiment practice, known as the Warrior Dance, we will begin to reconnect with the animal that lives inside each of us. The animal that knows how to crawl, hunt, and ultimately play. We’ll get to drop beneath the mind and center the experience of letting the body lead. In accessing this primal aliveness as a group, we’re opening ourselves to an intelligence far greater than the mind alone.

Financial Assistance Ticket
In all Heart of Men events, we allocate a quarter of tickets for men who would not be able to attend without financial assistance. You bring a very important piece to the space, and the circle would not be complete without the wisdoms from your life experiences. If you meet the following criteria, please fill out this brief form, and we’ll be in touch with a 50%-off code. These tickets are for men who are: earning <$15,000 per year, formerly incarcerated, first-generation refugee, full-time regenerative farmers, or of First Nations descent. Video footage: At Heart of Men, our work is two-fold: the inner & the outer. The spaces we hold are focused on the inner transformation. And, concurrently, we believe culture has to be ready to receive the changing narrative of masculinity to meet men in their inner evolutions. We believe in storytelling as a vehicle to invite new, cultural narratives of being men. To support this aim, there will be a videographer present during Breathwork & Brotherhood. In opening circle, any man will have the opportunity to opt out of being filmed, and before (if ever) any intimate footage is used, you will be asked a second time for your consent.
We have a limited capacity for Friday and Saturday to ensure an intimate environment, and we do anticipate this event selling out.
