* Labyrinths are a powerful tool to aid relaxation, reflection, meditation and prayer. You can either walk a labyrinth on the floor or trace a hand held labyrinth. The labyrinth shape is like a twisting path, but unlike a maze, it has no dead ends. The winding path leads to the centre and then you walk or trace it back out in reverse.

Your time walking/tracing the Labyrinth provides a safe container to reflect on your recent life experiences. The winding path is like the journey with twists and turns you experience in real life. It's remarkable how the process of walking/tracing can bring new insights, compassion and hope.

Labyrinths are ideal for all ages and I have used them over the last 10 years with children in schools, expectant mums, parents and carers, adults in business and in church settings.

We will be joining with thousands of people around the world waling as one, because we are meeting on the 4th May - World Labyrinth Day 2024. Find out more about labyrinthys and World Labyrinth Day

Affordable for all:

We aim to make our Breathe Retreats as affordable as possible thanks to grant funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and commissioning from Thanington Parish Church who received funding from Benefact Trust.

Please ensure you book your place for this morning retreat, numbers are limited to enable everyone to have time to walk.

Pay-What-You-Can:

We offer the pay-what-you-can places on a trust basis, please select a price point that you can afford. The top price ticket is closer to the actual price this retreat costs, but all places are subsidised thanks to the grants.

If your family earns less thatn £16,000 a year, we do not want you to miss out. Please select a low income place and pay just £5 on the door on the day.

Your contribution helps pay for refreshments, materials, venue costs and facilitation.

Introducing Aileen, you're retreat facilitator:

“I’m really looking forward to meeting/welcoming you to our Spring Breathe Retreat in Canterbury! I have been leading Breathe retreats for the past 10 years in Medway, Merseyside, Manchester and online.

Our retreat will provide you with a safe space to be yourself and to acknowledge all the highs and lows that parenting/being a carer can bring. It's not just about parenting/caring though. The morning will help you get back in touch with you - the new you, who you are now! If you're not sure who that is, then let us help you start to discover for yourself! It's amazing the difference 2.5 hours can bring for your self esteem, clarity and hope levels. Aileen **"
