Breathe Easy: Meditation for Busy MindsDo you ever try to meditate and end up frustrated instead of calm? Do you think meditation should be a serious and focused activity you do every day in order to be beneficial? Do you think you’re not doing it right if you don’t feel transcendental bliss? It doesn’t have to be so serious… it’s time to make mindfulness easy!
In this workshop, we’re going to bring levity and joy to meditation. I’ll show you some different breathing techniques that you can use on a daily basis without having to have the “perfect” set up.
We’ll be doing three shorter guided meditations, each one focusing on a different topic:
Grounding - to help center the body
Body image - for increasing self love
Relaxation - to release tension and anxiety
This 1 hour and min class is for people who have tried mediation and couldn’t calm their busy minds and who want to learn how to breathe to settle anxiety without a lot of fuss.
