You’ll get access to advice from a COPD nurse or physiotherapist, physical activity, information about local activities and opportunities, along with social connection; over cups of tea and biscuits!
HOW WILL I BENEFIT?
You’ll see an improvement of health and wellbeing outcomes, reduced or no need to engage with your GP practice regarding your COPD, plus information and motivation to move more and breathe better.
DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT TO TAKE PART?
We recommend comfy shoes for gentle physical activity. If you use an inhaler, and are looking for advice on how to use it effectively, then please bring it with you.
WHEN DOES THE ‘BREATHE BETTER GET TOGETHER’ HAPPEN?
The group will usually meet on the last Wednesday of each month, from 1-2.30pm.
WHAT DOES IT COST AND HOW DO I BOOK?
It’s totally free to attend and there’s no need to book, this is an open group and all people living with COPD are welcome.
