About this Event

Breathe and Brew is a beautiful and simple practice where we use grounding breath to connect to the powerful centring effects of the tea's nutrients. We then sit in quiet contemplation and enjoy a sense of stillness so dearly missing for many of us in our daily lives.

The space asks for nothing from you, just to 'be' in whatever way you feel comfortable and allows room for you to hear your inner voice. We use Tea Spirit cards to support and guide your self-reflection experience, which can be particularly helpful if you are new to this kind of work.

ATTIC stands for All The Tea In China and is a Bristol-based Tea company selling whole-leaf, hand-harvested and hand-crafted Chinese Teas. For the last 18 years we have been championing 5 specific teas, chosen as each holds an elemental energy (earth, metal, fire, wood, water) and have created our own perfectly balanced blend of all 5, so as to welcome and support such balance within you too. This is the tea we will be drinking during this Breathe and Brew experience.

Join me for a beautiful hour of mindful tea drinking , contemplation and communitea. No prior experience necessary.

This event is part of DIASPORA! - a new arts festival for Bristol and the South West, presented by the Diverse Artists Network (DAN). Taking place this year for the very first time, 3-6 May 2024, this four-day, multi-venue celebration will platform and showcase the wide variety of talent reflected in the region’s underrepresented cultural communities.
