Breathwork is an amazing gift we have to release energy in the body. It's a great way to release stress, anxiety and other emotions that need to be released. It's a great way to expand your consciousness and experience non ordinary states of consciousness. It can facilitate healing and help you connect with spirit. It's the bridge between the physical world and the non physical world.

Why do breathwork?
-To get “un-stuck”/“change the channel”
-To get into your body and literally move energy
-To open your heart/Be more available to others
-To alkalize, build lung capacity, use oxygen more efficiently
-To release stress and anxiety while building immunity
-To turn down the critical ‘monkey’ mind and access flow states
-To access unconscious intelligence
-To express and move through pent up emotion, grief, and trauma
-To deepen our relationship to the life force that connects us all.
-To get high on your own supply
What to bring:
If you have a yoga mat, you can bring it as we will be laying on the floor.
You will be lying down for most of an hour. If you want to bring blankets (you might get cold and/or hot in breathwork) and pillows to make yourself more comfortable, I would highly suggest you do this.
PLEASE TRY TO COME ON AN EMPTY STOMACH! Try to not eat at least a couple hours before breathwork. Otherwise, your stomach might get upset and you won’t have the best experience.
*DISCLAIMER*
If you have anything that would keep you from a vigorous workout, you may want to skip this breathwork. You should skip this breathwork if you have:
-Heart conditions, stroke
-epilepsy
-any recent surgery in your abdominal or thoracic area
-pregnant
Otherwise, this is a very safe way to breathe!
