About this Event
Breath of renewal: flute inspirations in historic walls presents music old and new, arranged for an ensemble of flutes - to include 'Fantasia on Greensleeves' by Ralph Vaughan Williams, a Tango arrangement and some carols to sing along to.
There will be a short 5-minute interval and refreshments afterwards.
Whilst there is no fixed entrance fee we ask concert goers to make a donation towards the church's reimagining project - referenced in the concert title. Donation tickets are bought singly but there is no upper limit to how many you can buy.

Stapleford Flutes is a group of around eight keen high-level amateur flute-players, started and run by Janna Hüneke in 2018. For the first few years they rehearsed and performed at Stapleford Granary, in the brand new arts centre there. In more recent times they have had to become more independent and find other venues to play in. One of these is the Bakehouse here at St Mary & St Michael’s church.
