About this Event
The Story
Late last summer, our son, Landon, was diagnosed with a rare condition known as idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis, a form of interstitial lung disease characterized by hemorrhaging within the lungs. At this time, there is no known cure for Landon’s condition, but the physicians at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are working tirelessly to find the most successful treatment plans available and, ultimately, a cure.
The Event
We are hosting a 5K this May to raise awareness and funds for research. Saturday, May 18th at 10:30 am with registration beginning at 10:00 am.
You can register for the 5K here at Eventbrite and then make a $35 donation . 100% of the donations will be funding the first-ever study of this disease. Please make sure your first and last name used on the donation form matches your name used for the Eventbrite registration.
